Cookie policy
This website does not use cookies. Not for analytics, not for advertising, not for anything. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to store, usually so it can recognise you on a later visit. Most websites use them to count visitors, remember settings, or build advertising profiles.
What this site does instead
This is a plain informational website. It shows you pages and gives you a form to send us your trip details. None of that requires storing anything on your device, so we do not.
Specifically, this site contains:
- No analytics. No Google Analytics, no Plausible, no visitor counter of any kind. We do not know how many people visit this site or which pages they read.
- No advertising or retargeting pixels. Nothing from Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, or any advertising network.
- No social media widgets, share buttons, or embedded feeds.
- No chat widget or live-support box.
- No embedded maps or videos.
- No session recording or heat mapping.
- No local storage or session storage used to identify you.
The one external request
This site loads two typefaces from Google Fonts. That request sends your IP address to Google, in the same way loading any image from another website would. It does not set a cookie and it does not identify you personally. It is described here for completeness rather than because it tracks you.
If we later serve those fonts from our own website instead, this page will be updated and the site will make no external requests at all.
Server logs
Like every website, the hosting service that delivers these pages keeps standard technical logs, which typically record IP addresses and browser types for security and troubleshooting. These are generated by the hosting provider, are not cookies, and are not used by us to identify or profile visitors.
Do we need your consent?
Consent requirements exist to protect you from being tracked without knowing. Since this site does not track you, there is nothing to ask permission for, and adding a pop-up would only be theatre.
If we ever add analytics or any other tracking, we will update this page first and ask for consent properly before anything is set.
Controlling cookies generally
Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies through its settings, and offers a private browsing mode. Those controls work regardless of what any individual website does.
